Commercial Signs – Fabricator

 Monarch DIRECT is a rapidly growing Full-Service Print Shop, Graphic Design and Sign Company in Port Charlotte FL which has a full-time position available for experienced Commercial Signs – Fabricator at our Venice location.

Your Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·         Fabrication, cutting and welding of aluminum and steel frame sign structures, base plates, pylon signs, pole sections, sign cabinets, aluminum channel letterings and architectural sign structures.

·         Keep projects organized and materials ordered to keep job flow in production.

·         Keep shop organized to maintain a safe environment.

·         Assist install team as needed for complex projects.

·         Ability to work independently as well as follow directions as part of a team.

·         Communicate with sales and design as needed.

Preferred skills in:

·         Experience in Welding: MIG welding steel and aluminum, Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), Cutting oxyacetylene Torch

·         Accu-Bend Experience

·         Mechanical Knowledge

·         Reading Mechanical Drawings

·         Hand Metal Bending

·         Power Hand Tools

·         Riveting

·         Forklift Operator

·         Basic Electrical

·         Project Assembly

Requirements to apply:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         1-year experience Welding

·         Previously worked successfully in a fast-paced environment

·         Lift or move up to 60 lbs

·         Climb ladders up to 20’

·         Frequently required to stand for long periods, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
